About the FSC Asian-Pacific Islander Student Association

Established in 2020, the Florida Southern College Asian-Pacific Islander Student Association (APISA) strives to promote the awareness of Asian and Pacific Islander culture among students, faculty and administrators at Florida Southern College and its local community.

The mission of Florida Southern’s Asian & Pacific Islander Student Association is to facilitate unity and empowerment through collaboration and awareness of the diverse student communities on campus by providing opportunities that enrich the educational and cultural experience of all students on campus. The association also aims to enhance public understanding regarding the diversity and unique varieties of cultures and ethnic values among Asian countries and Pacific Islands. It is not our intent to segregate students of Asian or Pacific Islander descent from the rest, but to cultivate Asians/Pacific Islanders and the rest of the student body to celebrate their differences and similarities.
